STATES
Each piece in this series maps the Ethnic Diversity of a U.S. State. Each color, including white, represents one of the 7 ethnic groups as defined by the U.S. Census. Using information from individual counties, the paintings map the quantities, locations and patterns of population groups within the state. The color palette is derived from the state flag.
